Authentically Belize: SEO & content monetization
In March 2025, I flew out to San Ignacio, Belize to consult Authentically Belize, a travel website founded and owned by local Ronnie Reyes. His mission is to promote ethical tourism in Belize to balance out the ever-growing presence of resorts and in-authentic tours.
I was granted this experience through Global Brigades, an international organization that has a branch at USC’s Marshall School of Business. Through meetings and research, I was able to present Reyes with a final deliverable on how best to optimize his site and monetize his social content alongside five of my peers.
I was also the Brigade Leader for this trip and handled coordination and logistics for all 12 participants.
ACC Vintage Clothing: creative direction, branding
I started working with ACC back in November as a part of Conaxion, a wonderful non-profit organization in SouthCentral LA that gives budding businesses free education tools and funding opportunities.
ACC needed some help with their logo, and I introduced them to AI as a tool to conjure color palettes and brand packs. I also taught them how to use Instagram and TikTok from a brand perspective, including the benefits of micro-influencer deals, and most recently worked as the creative director for a product shoot.
Tristar Investigation: advertising & B2B marketing
My most recent advertising project at Tristar revolved around managing my own CRM system (Pipedrive), conducting email campaigns, and coordinating meetings.
As a private investigation firm, Tristar is unique in its breakthrough work in PAGA and class action cases (employees’ labor rights), and I constantly speak with high-level attorneys to promote partnerships between Tristar and law firms. I also work on individual cases, speaking directly to affected employees and working with them to encourage them to join cases.
That Turkish Girl Travels: branding, creative design, monetization
That Turkish Girl Travels is my personal travel brand that I use to share my experiences from around the world. I offer free itineraries for the trips I’ve been on, and also sell custom itineraries. I’ve started work-of-mouth marketing and will have ventured into search marketing with paid ads through Google.
InfoWerks Healthcare Data Solutions: SEO & B2B email campaigns
As a marketing consultant with InfoWerks, I was able to become a first mover for the expanding company’s attempts at brand awareness. I dove into organic SEO and recommendations for outsourcing paid ad specialists, and presented B2B advertising strategies as well as advice regarding email campaigns.
